The Auters' Arrival

We are so excited we can hardly stand it!  Richie and Stefanie arrive tomorrow morning at 9:30 to spend 8 days with us!!  We have had the official countdown going for a week now.  It is finally here!

We have a very full schedule for the next week.  Tomorrow we will meet R&S at the airport, and then we will do a quick luggage drop-off followed by lunch.  Then, we are going to the Etyek Cellar Festival during the afternoon.  This is an annual wine festival in the village of Etyek, where the best of the Hungarian winemakers come to display their wine.  It should be a great time.  Hopefully Richie and Stefanie can fight the jet lag well enough to enjoy it.  I am sure they will need an early night tomorrow.  Speaking of that, our guest room is fully set-up and ready for company :)

The next phase of their visit is our trip to Croatia.  We are renting a car and drving to Dubrovnik, Croatia on Tuesday.  Phillip says we are leaving at 5am....has he forgotten who he is married to??  Haha...even I must admit we better leave that early.  It is a LONG drive.  It is going to be a great chance to catch up with our friends though. 

They are also bringing us a few treasures from America!  We sent them a list, and we are so excited to get to replinish some of our favorites like Rotel.

We have had a good week.  We worked pretty hard this week in anticipation of our vacation time this coming week.  My team at work had a big celebration dinner on Friday, and then we had some of my friends from work over to our flat.  It was a great time!
